    My Students

    My grade 6 class are great group of active learners that really benefit from working with hands-on manipulatives to help their learning. They enjoy working together, problem solving ideas, and engaging actively in group discussions. Gaining programming tools for the classroom would challenge their thinking and overcome obstacles in attempt bring their ideas to life. Students will be challenged to work together in a variety of groupings to improve their communication, problem solving that would enrich conversation, partnerships, and group work skills.

    How will this project impact them?

    Students will use Spheros to learn about programming and the connections they make to our own technologically rich world. It is my goal for them to recognize that programming has an unlimited potential that will hopefully spark their imagination and wonder. Using Spheros, students will be able to understand programming ideas and the foundations needed to bring their ideas to life. Students will be able to see in real-time, the results of their logic, focus, and application of ideas. Another goal is to begin inspiring others in the school by sharing their learning projects to other classes and school.

    ** Payment Processing Fee: An average of fees charged to MyClassNeeds for processing donations (e.g. credit card payments through a secure server). We have worked hard to select the most secure option for the cost.

    *** Optional Donation: An optional donation to support MyClassNeeds which is calculated at 15% of the project’s price tag. The optional contribution supports the work we do to engage teachers, build awareness, and to generally run MyClassNeeds. To do that we need a world- class website supported by strong business systems and processes that improve over time.
