    My Students

Carson Graham is a public school in North Vancouver. Carson's student body contains students representing over 30 different nationalities. The students come from a variety of different socioeconomic backgrounds and access to technology outside of school in Carson's catchment is not a given. The requested resources will directly benefit students in grades 8-12, in all science classes and many math classes.

How will this project impact them?

Students learn best when they are allowed to explore, ask questions and find their own answers. The goal of this project is to increase the resources available to students in the Science and Math Classrooms. Specifically, this tablet will allow students to interface with pasco science sensors and see results from experiments in real time. This tablet will also give students who do not have access to their own laptops the ability to access websites and perform virtual experiments as well as using software to perform scientific and mathematical modelling in class. This will also allow students to access digital notes online.
