  • My Class Needs 3D models to engage students in learning of the body

    Launched October 23rd, 2017 Project Deadline January 30th, 2018
Classroom Size 120 Students School Size 1200 Students

    My Students

I teach all levels of science and this year I have grade 10, 11 and 12. I have a variety of students that range in geographical background as well as language levels. All students can benefit from models that show processes in a visual way,

How will this project impact them?

To fully engage in the biology of the human body students need to visualize the parts in 3D, this can be a challenge as most materials are only 2D. Students benefit by the hands on models that show the detail and functions of the organs. It engages the students on another level. Visual learning through demonstration is key in the sciences. Models can be utilized in a variety of ways for all learners.
