  • My Class Needs technology to enhance our learning experience

    Launched October 25th, 2017 Project Deadline January 30th, 2018
Classroom Size 25 Students School Size 104 Students

    My Students

We are a small high school of 73 students from grade 7 - 12. This has caused budgetary issues for promoting technology.

How will this project impact them?

The students love to create items with recycled materials. I am looking for a way that students can create gadgets or robots with the Little Bits that can solve problems. With the Little Bits, I will be able to include STEM activities through the idea of creating a makerspace where students are able to create gadgets or modify existing ideas with these invention kits. The Little Bits allow students with the tools to create electronic robots or gadgets to solve problems. These inventions will be created using traditional craft type of materials. Students will be reusing cardboard boxes to create cars and robots that move. Student will have the ability of designing almost anything they can imagine with the help of the Little Bits. The Little Bits will empower students through Art with STEAM!

    * Fulfillment Materials: This covers the physical costs of processing teacher and student thank-you letters and pictures, including printing, postage, labels, envelopes, cover sheets, etc.

** Payment Processing Fee: An average of fees charged to MyClassNeeds for processing donations (e.g. credit card payments through a secure server). We have worked hard to select the most secure option for the cost.

*** Optional Donation: An optional donation to support MyClassNeeds which is calculated at 15% of the project’s price tag. The optional contribution supports the work we do to engage teachers, build awareness, and to generally run MyClassNeeds. To do that we need a world- class website supported by strong business systems and processes that improve over time.
