    My Students

Our classroom is full of eager and excited 4th and 5th grade learners ready to take on any challenge they meet! We have a diverse group of students and providing them with hands on activities that promote critical and logical reasoning skills is a must. Providing them with the opportunity to use puzzles and games will help to keep their interest, promote positive group conversations and increase their problem solving skills as well as their spatial reasoning.

How will this project impact them?

My students definitely find math more engaging when they can learn from a game or a group activity. When something is interesting then it's fun and when it's fun, it's engaging. Having some hands on activities to help offset the pencil and paper work that goes along with the curriculum is a great way to keep students motivated and engaged.
