  • My Class Needs programmable Sphero robots to explore expriential problem solving.

    Launched September 8th, 2017 Project Deadline January 10th, 2018
Classroom Size 22 Students School Size 206 Students

    My Students

This project will fund programmable robots for a maker-space in our school. Students will use experiential learning to solve problems presented to them. This program will be beneficial to every learner!

How will this project impact them?

Students will program robots (Sphero) to solve specific problems found in their environment. There are multiple ways to find a solution. Students will use experiential learning to find a solution to the problem. Learning by trying will enhance multiple cognitive skills in students, which can be applied to other problem solving tasks within their classrooms. This program will be thought-provoking, fun, and engaging for all learners.

    * Fulfillment Materials: This covers the physical costs of processing teacher and student thank-you letters and pictures, including printing, postage, labels, envelopes, cover sheets, etc.

** Payment Processing Fee: An average of fees charged to MyClassNeeds for processing donations (e.g. credit card payments through a secure server). We have worked hard to select the most secure option for the cost.

*** Optional Donation: An optional donation to support MyClassNeeds which is calculated at 15% of the project’s price tag. The optional contribution supports the work we do to engage teachers, build awareness, and to generally run MyClassNeeds. To do that we need a world- class website supported by strong business systems and processes that improve over time.
