  • My Class Needs technology and robotics to engage in STEM, Coding, and Design Projects

    Launched August 24th, 2017 Project Deadline December 31st, 2017
Classroom Size 25 Students School Size 393 Students

    My Students

I teach a Grade 4/5 French Immersion class who actively engages with technology, coding, and STEM activities on a daily basis. We are a leading French Immersion Elementary class exploring technology, design and science in French. My students are very interested in building, designing, creating and coding.

How will this project impact them?

These tools will provide students with increased opportunities to acquire, develop and practice their building, designing, coding and problem solving skills. My students will develop their creative and critical thinking skills through the use of technology and robotics. They will also share their learning with the parent community as well as the greater school community. They will develop real world skills and pursue interests they might not otherwise have a chance to explore.

    * Fulfillment Materials: This covers the physical costs of processing teacher and student thank-you letters and pictures, including printing, postage, labels, envelopes, cover sheets, etc.

** Payment Processing Fee: An average of fees charged to MyClassNeeds for processing donations (e.g. credit card payments through a secure server). We have worked hard to select the most secure option for the cost.

*** Optional Donation: An optional donation to support MyClassNeeds which is calculated at 15% of the project’s price tag. The optional contribution supports the work we do to engage teachers, build awareness, and to generally run MyClassNeeds. To do that we need a world- class website supported by strong business systems and processes that improve over time.
