    My Students

Hi, this is my 5th year teaching. This year I was teaching a grade 3 class with a lot of special needs. I quickly realized that small group instruction was BEST for this group rather than the usual teaching. I changed my teaching style and got rid of ALL my desks and threw myself into a flexible seating classroom! However, I had to do this out of my own money and obviously could not purchase everything as I had envisioned. So I need YOUR HELP to realize my vision and help my group for next year!

How will this project impact them?

The materials that I had purchased on my own helped, but it is not enough. Already I have seen such an incredible transformation with my students! They are much calmer and students who were struggling are now succeeding tremendously. If I can get the items I'd need to really transform my class, I know that it will definitely help my students excel. Currently at our school board, I have but one teacher who is starting to launch this new teaching style. With your help, I can be a pilot project and help other schools in our board make learning fun, engaging and more accessible to all students.

** Payment Processing Fee: An average of fees charged to MyClassNeeds for processing donations (e.g. credit card payments through a secure server). We have worked hard to select the most secure option for the cost.

*** Optional Donation: An optional donation to support MyClassNeeds which is calculated at 15% of the project’s price tag. The optional contribution supports the work we do to engage teachers, build awareness, and to generally run MyClassNeeds. To do that we need a world- class website supported by strong business systems and processes that improve over time.
